Project Description
AgroEcology_Italy is a large-scale regenerative agriculture initiative designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while increasing long-term carbon sequestration across Italian agricultural landscapes. Developed by Alberami S.r.l., the project supports farmers in adopting regenerative farming, agroforestry, and tree-planting practices that improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and strengthen climate resilience.
The initiative provides financial incentives, technical guidance, and carbon market access to help overcome barriers to sustainable farming. By integrating climate-smart agricultural practices with verified carbon accounting, the project enables measurable carbon removals while supporting rural communities and promoting a more resilient agricultural economy.
