The 5.5 MW KCIL-PIPL Wind Project is a utility-scale renewable energy initiative that generates clean electricity using wind power while contributing verified carbon credits under the Universal Carbon Registry (UCR). The project supports India's transition toward low-carbon electricity generation by replacing conventional fossil fuel-based power with renewable wind energy.
Developed as a joint initiative by KCIL-PIPL, the project demonstrates collaborative investment in sustainable energy infrastructure. In addition to this wind project, the organization has also developed integrated solar and wind hybrid projects through dedicated special purpose vehicles, further strengthening its commitment to renewable energy development.
