The Blue Carbon Project is an innovative ocean-based carbon removal initiative located in Baja California, Mexico, utilizing the proprietary Sea Cave® True Blue Carbon® technology to remove atmospheric CO₂ while restoring degraded marine ecosystems.
The project enhances natural carbon sequestration through macroalgae (kelp) photosynthesis, artificial reef development, and long-term storage of marine carbon. Beyond climate mitigation, it creates habitats for fish and marine species, supports sustainable fisheries, and promotes healthier ocean ecosystems. Every carbon credit generated contributes directly to measurable biodiversity restoration, making the project one of the pioneering Blue Carbon initiatives globally.
